Do it yourself Technology™
Background
Do it yourself Technology™ is a department if Schweizer Agriculture managed by IPDS Botswana Pty Ltd in order to promote, encourage the usage of renewable energies that are effective-saving, transformative and sustainable. The initiative promotes off grid and on grid models in Sub-Sahara markets under the PAYGO™ hire purchase agreement, leasing options from a minimum of 21months to 9 years repayment plans.
Environmental Impact
By introducing and encouraging the use of mini biogas or compact solar power generation units, DIY can help families save money on kerosene (paraffin), lighting oils, candles and cell phone charging. At the same time, we can reduce the risk of devastating house fires, health and premature death.
Applications
Do it yourself Technology units are suitable for use in schools, clinics and even by law enforcement and the military. They have the capacity to power (for example) a school of say 5 classrooms and an administrative and to provide lighting and cell phone charging, plus photocopier, a printer and a laptop.
Financing options on hire purchase
Do it yourself Technology™ offers finance solutions via local banks, with a 24-month warranty that allows repayments by customers over 2 years as the banking institution has technology as security. Funding can also be arranged as Pay As You Go (PAYGO™) based on the manufacturer’s warranty. All the bank requires from the customer is proof of residence and a copy of their ID.

You cover 15-20% of CAPEX requirements (up front); enter a full pay-out lease and achieve full ownership after 8 years
From year 9, onwards zero cost for energy (service and maintenance costs only)
